As a Software Engineer II,



you will be part of an agile team responsible for developing, testing, delivering & maintaining features for our logistics solutions. Collaborating with your team members, scrum master & product owner, you will regularly identify opportunities to improve deliverable quality and team productivity. You must be comfortable working in both Windows & Linux environments and ready to learn new programming languages & technologies.

Responsibilities

- Actively developing Platform services, components, and SDKs leveraged globally throughout PDI products.
- Performs testing to ensure systems meet documented user requirements, and compiles test results to provide data for use in solving problems
- Works closely with the team, and reports clearly and accurately to management
- Evaluate and build proof of concepts regarding technology selection from languages to libraries, frameworks, and cloud-based services.
- Troubleshoot, test, and validate software issues; resolve issues with due urgency and maintains thorough documentation of all software solutions
- Perform engineering level tests to find defects; troubleshoot and debug development and production issues, collaborating with support personnel
- Research and learn new technologies and apply that knowledge
- Our criteria for success is the ability to rapidly create reliable, scalable, and maintainable modern solutions.





Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

- 3 - 5years’ experience designing and developing new or maintaining existing software applications in a software product development environment
- Experienced in .NET Core and C#, SQL
- Experienced with front end development
- Familiarity with the Visual Studio or VS Code IDE
- Demonstrable analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team
- Strong communication skills with both verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to deliver high-quality solutions and receive constructive feedback.
- Able to and loves to rapidly learn new programming languages and technologies and apply that knowledge in creating new solutions.

Preferred Skills & Experience

- Cloud based services such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud Platform
- One or more modern Javascript frameworks (React, Angular, Vue)
