Job Description

Role of a Safety Engineer at site

- Conducting safety induction to Management Staff, internal audit, training/safety awareness program for all level of Management staff &workers.;
- Identify areas for potential accident and health hazards and implement appropriate control measures.
- Monitoring the strict implementation of work permit system.
- Verify the compliance of various statutory rules & regulation and recommendation with respect to safety.
- Training/ assisting supervisors to conduct daily toolbox meetings.
- Investigating accidents /incidents and taking precautionary measures.
- Prepare and review safety guidelines for construction activities like working at height, rigging jobs, crane safety, material handling, and electrical safety proper access.
- Ensuring adequate firefighting at work place.
- Implementation of international standard of safety.
- Emergency preparedness and conducting fire and rescue drill.
