Summary:

The Quality Engineer in the construction industry will be responsible for overseeing and inspecting construction sites to ensure that they meet regulatory and company standards for quality. They will work closely with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to identify areas where quality improvements can be made and ensure that standards are met throughout the construction process.

Responsibilities:

- Work with project managers, contractors, and subcontractors to identify areas for quality improvement.
- Oversee and inspect construction sites to ensure that they meet regulatory and company standards for quality.
- Develop and implement quality standards, procedures, and guidelines.
- Prepare and present reports and metrics related to quality performance.




- Monitor and audit subcontractors and vendors to ensure that they meet quality standards.
- Utilize corrective and preventive action processes to address quality issues.
- Provide training to staff and stakeholders on quality processes and standards.
- Work with project teams to ensure that quality is maintained throughout the construction process.
- Respond to quality complaints and develop corrective action plans as needed.
- Conduct regular audits of construction sites to ensure that quality standards are being upheld.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
- At least 3-5 years of experience in a quality assurance or quality control role in the construction industry.
- Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and specifications.
- Familiarity with relevant industry codes and standards.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to work well in a team environment.
