Qualifications

- 1+ years of experience in interaction design, product design, service design, or related field Bachelor's degree in Product Design, Human-Computer Interaction Design, or other relevant field or experience
- Master's preferred Deep knowledge of design principles, methods, layout and composition
- Deep empathy for customer problems and understanding of business needs and goals
- Great attention to detail, organizational and documentation skills
- Curiosity and commitment to testing new ideas and innovating to drive business results
- Effective communicator, presenter, and negotiator
- Expert at conveying ideas and concepts through storyboarding, wireframing, and prototyping
- Mastery of design tools such as Figma, Sketch, Illustrator, Mural/Murio, etc
- Experience working with Jira is a plus

Responsibilities

- Work with innovation teams to progress concept into reality
- Solve customer problems by synthesizing behavioral information and imagining things as they might be, not as they are
- Participate, and often lead, customer research with clear goals, a testable hypothesis, and learning plan
- Conceptualize a broad spectrum of ideas and then narrow based on experimentation and customer research
- Deliver user flow diagrams, interaction patterns, design specs, wireframes, mental models, information architecture, and prototypes using emotional design methods
- Push and evolve visual frameworks and patterns based on brand guidelines
- Collaborate effectively with other designers, content strategists, product managers, marketers, and researchers Partner with product managers and development peers to sweat the details of delivering experiences that go beyond MVP to delight our customer
- Take projects and own them start to finish, with input from Senior Designers
- Sweat the details by articulating implementation details/specs in user stories for dev
- Solicit feedback and contribute constructively to design reviews
- Advance a strong point of view, backed up by personal expertise, design rationale, customer data, and industry trends Work on multiple projects at one time, using strong communication skills to manage time and expectations appropriately
