ServiceNow Developer

The ServiceNow Developer is responsible for working to develop, design and own technical solutions on the ServiceNow platform. The Service Now Developer will provide administration, application development, maintenance, and technical support by using good practice web programming techniques to configure robust solutions to the client utilizing the ServiceNow platform.

Responsibilities:

- Hand on experience with development and implementation of ServiceNow ITSM modules - Incident Management, Problem Management, Configuration Management, Change Management, Knowledge Management or other ITSM application.
- Hand on experience with extending the ServiceNow schema to custom applications.
- Should have Fundamental understanding of ITSM, ITIL, CMDB
- Hand on experience with ServiceNow client and server-side JavaScript and the ServiceNow APIs
- Experience presenting and conducting demo reviews with client stakeholders
- Integration, Orchestration with third party sources, discovery sources
- Extensive hands-on experience of working with script based ServiceNow components such as business rules, script includes, client scripts, UI pages etc.




- Good oral and written communication skills Strong analytical, teamwork and customer engagement skills
- strong knowledge in Integration with third party systems: Webservice (REST and SOAP), LDAP, SSO, JDBC, Midserver
- Strong knowledge in scripting; Experience in writing the Scripts using Glide Objects, JavaScript
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, crisis management and problem-solving skills
- Experience in upgrading platforms, and best practices

Requirements:

- Minimum 3 + years working experience with ServiceNow platform in enterprise-wide, multi-tier ServiceNow production environment.
- Working knowledge of cloud scripting languages preferably JavaScript’s, JSON.
- Basic understanding and ability to script automated processes.
- Agile Scrum methodology Experience.
- Knowledge of Software Development life Cycle (SDLC)
- Customer expectation setting and control.
- Should be able to understand the codes, review the codes etc.
- Should have overall knowledge of ITSM (IM/PM/CM/SRM/KM/Asset Management)
- Should be able to Provide Demo to customer and provide Solution based on requirements.
- Should be aware of ServiceNow Implementation Best Practices

Required Certification





- CSA ServiceNow Admin
- ServiceNow ITSM implementation Specialist
- Any other certification is Plus
