The Scrum Master position at S&P; Global works with stakeholders and team members across regions to facilitate the delivery of value using Agile practices. The Scrum Mater contributes significantly to their team’s success by acting as a servant leader and coaching towards continuous improvement while executing on delivering business priorities.

Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be working with a team of enthusiastic members supporting our critical technology systems and guiding our business partners & end users with industry best practices, solution design,



and creating long term value to our customers.

· Act as Servant leader to an Agile team

· Build a safe environment where problems can be raised without fear of blame, retribution, or being judged, with an emphasis on learning, growing and problem solving.

· Educate Agile teams to maximize delivery of positive outcomes from Agile practices and values

· Coach Agile scrum teams in self-organization and continuous improvement

· Guide the Agile team to consistently delivery customer value

· Manage risks, mitigate impediments, and negotiate dependencies within and across teams

· Facilitate team events including Daily Stand-ups, Iteration Planning, Feature/Story Refinement sessions, Reviews/Demos, Retrospectives and Quarterly Planning.

· Work with Product Owners to ensure features and user stories are clear, concise, prioritized, and understood by every member of the Agile team.

· Establish and maintain open and clear lines of team communication to facilitate status transparency

· Work with peers, managers, and communities of practice to increase the effectiveness of Agile delivery.

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience leading teams in delivery using Agile practices

· Excellent English communication and collaboration skills

· Basic knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC)

· Proven ability to identify and mitigate risks proactively

· Team-first, empathetic, servant leader with a growth mindset.
