Your key responsibilities
Overview
- Operations Reference Data Services (ORDS) is responsible for provision of operational support and management of Reference data. This includes Party (Client) data to facilitate KYC and enable client business and trading relationships and associated downstream processes including Regulatory and Tax obligations
ORDS is driving the Group Data Strategy across the Corporate Bank & the Investment Bank. The key elements of this strategy are:
- Providing authorized sources of multiple classes of Reference Data (Party, Instrument, Book, Product, Common) to all areas that contains accurate data with full coverage
- Distributing of data elements/attributes across the organization to ensure a single identifier is used front-to-back and there is consistency, alignment and common usage of data attributes front-to-back
- Identify and align common Parties, and their associated common attributes, across the Group (CBIB, PB). You will be joining Operations Reference Data Services, ORDS sits within (CIB)
division of Deutsche Bank and plays an integral part in the firm’s first line of defence against financial crime, reducing the risk of working with new clients, while ensuring client relationships are on boarded and maintained efficiently. RDS provide a golden source of quality reference data across the bank, underpinning the firm’s key Regulatory, Control & Governance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- The Operations Lead is typically responsible for the supervision and oversight of a team and/or of workflow and functions.
- The Lead may perform regular business activities but in the main has responsibilities for people management, workflow, training and performance of controls. This would include to a large degree oversight of performance to Key Performance, Risk Indicators and Service level agreements.
- They have expertise or deeper understanding of process, product and/or the business and play a key role in facilitating communication between functional teams, sharing knowledge and valuable practice.
- They lead and foster the team dynamic, often providing resource strategy input and focus on process and performance efficiency.
- They are responsible for analysis, change and continuous improvement as well as the first or second level escalation point for the team.
- The Operations Lead proactively identifies, escalates and takes steps to substantially mitigate risk issues within and outside of direct main business area and is also responsible for building, fostering and managing relationships with relevant stakeholders (internal and/or external) and in particular around the more time critical, complex or regulated tasks.
Your skills and experience
- Background in any of the processess under client data / Tax / Instruments / would be beneficial
- Must have strong organization skills & the ability to work and review samples independently.
- Must be a team player, determined and hardworking
- Attention to details and ability to run multi tasks
- Present and articulate with strong written and oral communication skills to deal with RTB leads / stakeholders on call calibrations
- Ability to learn new procedures quickly and gain in depth expertise on overall RTB processess
- Ability to produce trend Reports and Quality dashboards.
