The Enterprise Complaints and Remediations (ECR) team brings together customer-focused functions from across the enterprise to provide a holistic approach to critical points of interaction with Wells Fargo customers. The group, which includes the Enterprise Complaints Management Office, the Customer Remediation Center of Excellence and Customer Excellence Data and Analytics, is responsible for understanding the causes of issues that affect customers and providing solutions that ensure customers' needs are understood and supported. The group is also accountable for ensuring regulators' expectations are met and that employees have the tools and training necessary for success.
Within Customer Excellence Data and Analytics , the Manual Review team gathers missing data elements at an account level to determine which customers are impacted for a specific remediation effort. This activity is necessary because data cannot be systemically collected and/or illogical data gaps exists. The unstructured data is pieced together during the manual review to come up with the appropriate decision to accurately remediate customers.
Job Role:
- Responsible for supervising staff on their production and quality metrics. May escalate questions from within the team to other leaders as necessary. Working with management team to identify problems and improve efficiencies, interfacing with other internal departments to resolve problems, communicating company policy, procedures and practices,
making employment decisions and setting performance standards, training and coaching staff, conducting performance evaluations, performing financial, product and/or business case analysis and completing projects as assigned.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Lead and manages a team of Operations Associates that gathers data related to specific remediation efforts
- Sets the expectation of what the production and quality goals are since they may differ for each Manual Review.
- Provides regular feedback on what individual team members are doing well and where they need to improve to attain their production and quality targets.
- Is responsible for the Manual Reviews staying on track so that the agreed upon timelines are met.
- Assists with procedure creation and SharePoint design for new manual reviews Approves Procedures once they have been fully vetted and tested.
- Responsible for reviewing escalated accounts to ensure the appropriate decision is made.
- May prepare reports for manager and/or Manual Review project team.
- Reviews reports on team level performance and cross checks this with their overall metrics.
- Partners will peers on best practices ensures have open line of communication.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in a financial services environment or 4+ years of experience in experience in one or a combination of the following: financial services administration, underwriting, claims resolution or quality assurance
- College Graduate (4 years)
- At least 2 years of people manager experience
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to Motivate a team to provide desired results
- Ability to coach under performing individuals to improve results be respectful but ensure there is a sense of urgency
Other Desired Qualifications
- 1+ years' general remediation research and/or execution experience
- Knowledge and understanding of consumer related remediation policy, process, and procedures
- Knowledge with various line of business applications and document repositories - SVP, ITOP, ICMP, EXS, XPM
