MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Monitor and escalate production issues within the stipulated SLA period.
- Provide support for improvement activities on both technical and non-technical aspects of support.
- Involve in the major incidents towards resolution by liasing with multiple stakeholders in a multi geographic environment.
- acknowledge customer reported issues via emails/Tickets and Keep them updated on resolution.
- continuous monitoring of alert and ticket dashbaords.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Graduate in any discipline, preferrably with 1+ year experience in production support.
- Strong communication, problem-solving and analytical skills.
- willing to work in 24X7 model supporting web based applications hosted across multiple Dc’s.
- Preferrable - knowledge/Experience in monitoring tools and ticketing systems.
- knowledge in Linux/webserver/appservers/Database.
- Passion to work in a 24X7 service delivery model.
- Strong interpersonal skills.

As a IT Operations Engineer I, you will be responsible to provide application monitoring and support of one or more services which are in production. The person is expected to work as individual contributor after taking the relevant knowledge from team members. He can contribute the process and service improvement. This position reports to IT Operations Engrg Manager II.
