General Summary:

- System performance and architectural analysis, including analysis/assess/project/report CPU/MIPS, bus bandwidth and latencies, and memory utilization for current and next generation chipsets to meet the product requirements across various subsystems on the SoC
- Perform detailed analysis of the existing software to provide innovative recommendations to improve performance and memory utilization, including software optimizations, SW/HW partitioning, cache/TCM sizing, etc...
- System issue Debug, identify workable solution for system issues including HW/SW optimizations to be fed back to Arch/design/SW teams
- Customer interaction and support
- Develop automation environment & tools for profiling, validation and debugging across all SOC components
- Involvement in pre-silicon evaluations and sign-offs
- Responsible for defining use-case scenarios aligning to product requirement, enabling and validating the use-case performance on system
- Scope opportunities for HW acceleration
- Working with various HLOS on application cores to meet end-to-end performance

Must have

- Work with various stakeholders from performance modelling team, design verification team to consolidate the use cases to be validated




- Understand and work on the system use case requirements and ensure right use cases are validated and critical KPI’s verified
- Work with Emulation and S/W teams to ensure that the right ecosystem established for the Pre-silicon performance Validation
- Verify and validate performance on actual silicon and correlate the performances against expectation
- Good documentations and presentation skills

Minimum Qualifications:

• B.E / B.Tech / M.Tech in Electronics and Communications Engg. /Computer science Engg.
• 1-3 years’ experience in validation of Complex design cores / system (Modem/Wireless connectivity) use cases on Emulation platform / on silicon

- System level understanding of Modem/Wifi/Wireless Infra
- Understanding of Memory interface / NOC’s, Good debugging skills
- Understanding of scripting languages ( Python / Perl / shell ), Programming skills - C/C++
- Excellent written and verbal skills
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work in a energetic and fast paced team environment
- Good understanding of Linux OS and UEFI
- Experience working on any ARM based platforms, mobile operating systems and/or performance profiling tools
- Good Knowledge of any bus protocols (AHB, AXI, ACE) and network on chip.
- Must be quick learner and should be able to adapt to new technologies
