Job Summary Digital Self Service team is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join our operations team. This team of highly passionate Operations engineers is responsible for supporting Multi-Cloud applications team with a high degree of stability, reliability and security that exceeds customer and stakeholder expectations. In this role you will be participating as an technical expert, providing technical solutions to operational problems, contributing to current operational implementation, collaborate internally, and with other teams, developers, architects and product owners to develop platforms for Public Cloud and on-prem environments. You are able to pick up new technologies quickly, be a strong mentor for other junior teammate, and rapidly adapt to changing business and customer requirements. The ideal candidate will have experience building and deploying Web apps and REST APIs on AWS / Azure cloud in multi-region setups. Job duties include a balance between development and fast-paced critical thinking, communication, troubleshooting and problem solving. Job Description Core Responsibilities Build and deploy distributed and robust cloud native (Azure, AWS, GCP) applications and infrastructure. Contribute to the architecture by partnering with engineering teams to ensure the systems can meet security, availability, and performance targets.



Provides technical leadership throughout the design process and mentorship with regards to practices, procedures, and techniques. Serves as a guide and mentor for junior level Engineers. Maintain Terraform and Ansible repositories. Assist with the development, monitoring, tracking, and analysis application performance metrics. Develops infrastructure update process for existing infra and assists in the roll-out of releases. Keeps current with technological developments within the industry. Monitors and evaluates competitive applications and products. Display expertise in knowledge of engineering methodologies, concepts, skills, and their application in the area of specified engineering specialty. Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned. Job Qualifications: A bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent with 8-10 years professional experience. Experience with one or more cloud-based platforms (e.g. AWS, Azure, Google Cloud). Solid understanding of networking with respect to Public Cloud. Experience hosting applications based on Microservices Architecture in containers on a Kubernetes infrastructure. Software development experience with an interest in using that experience to solve distributed systems problems. Experience with at least one of these languages: Javascript, Python. Proficient in Linux CentOS / Ubuntu system Administration Solid understanding of CI/CD processes and experience using tools such as Concourse, Artifactory, Git, Jenkins, TeamCity and Octopus. Experience working with Infrastructure automation tools such as Ansible / Terraform / Pulumi. Experience with Terraform, Docker, DynamoDB, OpenSearch. Experience with monitoring systems such as Elastic Search, Kibana, splunk, Grafana Has excellent interpersonal skills, ability to convey ideas clearly and interact with people at all levels.
