Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:

The position holder will oversee and take the full ownership of GBS Global hub R2R operation transition, stabilization, operation excellence, continuous improvement. In addition, the position holder will oversee BPO R2R performance in line with SLA and be part of the Change Decision Board to jointly define and decide BPO R2R process change and improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

· Lead or support global hub R2R operation team ramp up. Ensure the regional hub to global hub transition R2R receiving team readiness. During transition:

- Ensure proper preparation and ensure deliverables from team;

- Ensure proactive and positive cooperation with sending teams and delivery model teams during and after each transition;

- Ensure that all processes are fully implemented before sign-off and aligned as much as possible with the standard processes.

· Lead GBS global hub R2R landlord model team oversee the service documentation, delivery, operational excellence and continuous improvement of Global hub teams (both landlord and BPO) Ensure full responsibility for team of landlord model and oversee the performance of delivery model and execution in accordance with defined KPI‘s and in compliance with SLA.

· Coordinate both landlord + delivery model team to support key initiatives (CFIN/S4, etc.) rollout

· Being responsible for HR related processes like Performance Reviews, recruiting, talent management and development and training

· Support and drive company Mission and Vision , ensuring regular communication with the teams (direct and indirect reports)

· Enable and promote cross-team collaboration, and be role model of One adidas

· Ensure and manage Business Partner (BP) satisfaction and complaints resolution

· Support process improvement projects and ensure adequate process changes and respective communication to team and BP





· Active communication and issue resolution with BP in order to optimize their satisfaction with service provided

· Responsible for issue resolution and process or service improvement, partly via addressing the root causes of errors or inefficiencies

· Ensure compliance with Group Finance Manual standards and legal and tax requirements of the companies served (the latter as detailed in the local SLA’s)

· Drive for simplification of processes and implement common processes wherever possible

· Develop and report on KPI`s; implement and monitor appropriate quality controls

· Oversee year end audit GBS R2R area. Ensure year end audit open items being timely and accurately followed up.

· Leading cross-functional projects to improve quality, consistency and efficiency within the center.

· Implementation of business strategies with some impact on business unit/ function results

· Work is independent and collaboration across multiple departments

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· In depth understanding of a Global Business Services finance end-to-end process

· Detailed knowledge and know-how of General Ledger accounting under IFRS, especially related to accounting for derivative transactions and investments (IAS 39 and 36)

· Excellent knowledge and deep know-how of local GAAP for derivative and hedge accounting

· Good knowledge in the use of SAP FI through proven work experience

· Strong communication skills (especially to help drive intercompany reconciliation and process improvement across multiple markets)

· Proven ability to manage a hybrid team

· Ability to pay close attention to detail,



and analyse complex details and calculations

· Experience in designing for and improving process quality, process review and compliance

· Pro- active (engaging & impact-oriented) mindset, ability to think end-to-end with a global mindset

· Ability to be self-directed while working under tight deadlines

· Ability to work in a fast paced environment with different international cultures

· Strong numerical and analytical skills

· Strong communication (both written and verbal) and facilitation skills (small and large groups) especially when interacting with different levels of business

· Ability to travel, domestic or international, as required

· Experience in designing for and improving process quality, process review and compliance

· Fluent English (verbal and written),

· Strong MS-Office skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), proficient in MS Office

Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications:

· Four-year college or university degree with focus on Finance, Business Administration, or related areas, or equivalent combination of education and experience

· Minimum of 8+ years of R2R operation lead or R2R transformation management, process management or process improvement, as well as (ideally) some experience of operational delivery of these services

· Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience in the area of accounting

· Proven work experience in people management/demonstrated ability to manage a medium-sized team

· CPA or similar qualified qualification

· Big Four experience is a plus
