Job Description :SQL Server DBA job descriptionWe are looking for an experienced SQL Server DBA to join our team! As a SQL Server DBA you will be responsible for the implementation, configuration, maintenance, and performance of critical SQL Server RDBMS systems 1. Strong Experience in Administration of MS SQL Server 2019, 2016, 2012, 2008 R2 and 2008 on standalone and cluster servers.2. Ability to analyze and provide inputs pertaining to SQL Server DB architecture and Implementation Periodic monitoring of SQL Server jobs and configure Alerts.3. Experience in creation of logins, users, configuring permissions and assigning roles to users.4.
Experience in place upgrade and side by side upgrade and upgrade to new hardware.5. Implementing and administration of backup/restore, disaster recovery and space.6. Monitoring plans by making space usage forecasts.7. Monitoring of overall health of servers in different environments. 8. Identifications of storage issues and proposing solutions for the same. 9. Analysing data issues and providing fixes. 10. Releasing code changes and schema changes to production. 11. Direct written and oral communication with client technical team and managers.12.
