Position Name: Senior Purchase Executive

Department: Purchase

Location: Koparkhairne, Navi Mumbai

Key Responsibilities:

Procurement & Sourcing

- Manage procurement of project, consumables.
- Float RFQs, obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and finalize suppliers.
- Issue Purchase Orders (POs) through ERP and ensure timely order execution.
- Coordinate with Planning, , Stores & Quality for material requirements.
- Monitor supplier deliveries and ensure on-time supply.

Vendor Management

- Identify, evaluate, and develop current suppliers.
- Conduct supplier performance evaluations based on Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service (QCDS).
- Negotiate pricing, payment terms, delivery schedules and commercial conditions.
- Maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers.

Cost Optimization

- Achieve annual cost reduction through negotiations and alternate sourcing.
- Analyse market trends and raw material price movements.
- Prepare monthly cost-saving reports.

Inventory Management

- Monitor inventory levels and avoid stock-outs or excess inventory.
- Coordinate with Stores for inventory optimization.
- Support implementation of rate contracts and annual purchase agreements.

Documentation & Compliance

- Maintain procurement records, contracts, quotations,



and vendor documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and audit requirements.

ERP & MIS

- Maintain accurate ERP transactions.
- Prepare procurement MIS, supplier performance reports, pending PO reports, and purchase analytics.

Team & Cross-functional Coordination

- Coordinate with Finance for timely vendor payments.
- Resolve procurement-related issues with internal stakeholders.

Experience & Educational Qualification

- B.E / B. Tech (Mechanical/Production/Electrical) Preferred
- 5-7 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement.
- Experience in Manufacturing, Machine Tools, Automation, Heavy Engineering, or Industrial Equipment is preferred.
