Role & responsibilities

- Develop and maintain integrated project schedules covering engineering, procurement, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities.
- Establish project baselines, milestones, critical paths, and progress measurement systems in alignment with project objectives.
- Monitor project progress against approved schedules and proactively identify delays, bottlenecks, and schedule risks.
- Conduct schedule analysis and prepare recovery plans to mitigate project delays and improve execution performance.
- Coordinate with engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and client teams to ensure schedule alignment.
- Perform critical path analysis, resource loading, and productivity assessments to support effective project execution.
- Generate periodic planning reports, dashboards, S-curves, look-ahead schedules, and management presentations.
- Support project management in forecasting completion dates and evaluating schedule impacts of changes and risks.




- Analyze contractor schedules and monitor subcontractor performance against contractual milestones.
- Support claims analysis, extension of time (EOT) assessments, and delay impact evaluations when required.
- Ensure compliance with project planning procedures, project controls standards, and client reporting requirements.
- Lead and mentor planning engineers while driving continuous improvement in planning and scheduling practices.

Preferred candidate profile

- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Instrumentation Engineering, or related discipline.
- Postgraduate qualification in Project Management or Construction Management will be preferred.
- Primavera P6 certification, PMP, PSP (Planning & Scheduling Qualified), or equivalent certification is desirable.
- 10-15 years of experience in Project Planning and Scheduling within Fertilizer, Petrochemical, Refinery, Chemical, Oil & Gas, Energy, or EPC projects.
