Counsellor Centre for Sight, Gachibowli (Hyderabad)

Key Responsibilities

- Counsel patients and their attendants regarding eye conditions, treatment options, and surgical procedures.
- Explain the benefits, risks, costs, insurance, and payment options for procedures such as cataract, LASIK, retina, glaucoma, and other eye surgeries.
- Convert doctor recommendations into confirmed surgeries by addressing patient concerns and objections.
- Coordinate with doctors, optometrists, front office, billing, and OT teams for smooth patient flow.
- Schedule surgeries and ensure all pre-operative documentation is complete.
- Follow up with prospective patients through phone calls and messages to improve conversion rates.
- Maintain accurate patient records, counselling notes, and daily MIS reports.
- Ensure high levels of patient satisfaction and resolve complaints professionally.
- Achieve monthly counselling, surgery conversion, and revenue targets while maintaining ethical patient care.

Preferred Qualifications

- Graduate in any discipline (MBA/Healthcare Management preferred)
- 3 + years of experience in hospital counselling, healthcare sales, patient relationship management, or diagnostics
- Experience in ophthalmology or multispecialty hospitals is an advantage.
