Key Responsibilities

- Patient Assessment: Interview and evaluate patients experiencing breathing distress due to conditions like asthma, COPD, pneumonia, or trauma. [1]
- Diagnostic Testing: Perform tests such as pulmonary function evaluations and analyze blood gas levels to determine lung capacity and oxygen saturation. [1]
- Therapy Administration: Provide aerosol medications, chest physiotherapy, and supplemental oxygen therapy to explicit airways and improve lung function. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
- Life Support Management: Set up, maintain, and monitor mechanical ventilators and artificial airways for patients in critical condition or intensive care. [1, 2]
- Emergency Response: Provide immediate, life-saving aid during medical emergencies, including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and trauma interventions. [1, 2, 3]
- Patient Education: Instruct patients on how to properly manage chronic respiratory diseases at home, including the use of inhalers, nebulizers, and home oxygen equipment
