Job Description Pega Developer (AI & Integration)

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Pega Developer with strong expertise in designing and developing enterprise applications using the Pega Platform. The ideal candidate should have experience in Design Thinking, solving business challenges, AI-enabled solutions, enterprise integrations, and secure integration practices. The role requires ownership of the complete application lifecyclefrom business requirement analysis to deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into scalable Pega solutions.
- Apply Design Thinking principles to address complex business challenges and improve customer experiences.
- Design, develop, and customize applications on the Pega Platform following Pega best practices.
- Leverage AI capabilities within Pega (Prediction Studio, Decisioning, GenAI features, or AI-powered automation) to enhance business processes.
- Design and implement integrations between Pega and enterprise systems using REST/SOAP APIs, Kafka, messaging services, and other middleware technologies.
- Ensure secure integration by implementing authentication, authorization, encryption, API security, and enterprise security standards.
- Participate in the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including business analysis, solution design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Troubleshoot production issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions to improve system stability.
- Optimize application performance, maintain code quality, and follow Pega guardrails and development best practices.




- Provide technical guidance and recommendations to development teams and business stakeholders.

Required Skills

- 510+ years of experience in Pega application development.
- Strong expertise in Pega PRPC with experience in Case Management, Workflows, UI, Data Pages, Decision Rules, and Integrations.
- Experience applying Design Thinking methodologies to solution design.
- Ability to analyze and solve complex business challenges.
- Knowledge of AI capabilities within Pega, including Decisioning, Prediction Studio, or Generative AI features.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise integrations using REST, SOAP, Kafka, JMS, or messaging frameworks.
- Strong understanding of secure integration concepts, including OAuth, JWT, SSL/TLS, API security, and enterprise authentication mechanisms.
- Experience across the end-to-end SDLC, from business requirement gathering through deployment and production support.
- Solid debugging, performance tuning, and production issue resolution skills.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications

- Pega Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA) or Pega Certified Lead System Architect (CLSA).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and version control tools such as Git.
- Exposure to microservices architecture and event-driven systems.
