Describe the principal mission of the position

Lead the dedicated platform simulation team from LCP and facilitate interaction with simulation engineer contributors

Responsible of the simulation plan of lighting controller platform from a performance, cost and planning point of view.

Lead the transversalisation of simulation competences for all simulation engineers associated to the design validation of those products in the headlamp.

Responsibilities

- Platform projects Referent for all mechanical simulation activities (Mechanical / Thermal / Rheology) for Lighting Controller Platform projects (P2, P1, P0), interface between project teams and simulation engineers
- On behalf of the R&D; PTE/L, lead and synchronize all disciplines for thermal simulation process (System, HW, Mecha, Simulation, T&V; ) and report to R&D; PTE/L
- Technical proposals from preliminary results (high competences expected on thermal with positive electronic knowledge).
- Participate in the anticipation of risks and define the simulation plan and method for the platform.
- Define solution and develop the simulation methods adapted to development of platform with support of Discipline. Define the test to validate hypotheses.
- Analyse simulation requests, assign and schedule simulation activities, give the priorities/arbitrations according to the Platform project strategy and Validate simulation reports in TMT.
- Maintain Simulation dashboard, participate to Mechatronic Technical Reviews, update raise DR for follow up of open red box items, identify and track to close all open issues in red box, contact expert to prepare Technical Expert Review with expert in the field of thermal, hardware or mechatronic if needed




- Participate to design to cost simulation activities
- Participate to RFQ related to Platform projects
- Capitalization & standardization: Supporting methodology development and simulation tools applications.
- Lead / propose / plan / follow simulation methods continuous improvement for LCP from projects needs, identify the benefits of simulation improvement (design to cost )
- Participate in the definition of the design rules and methodologies improvement for the current method.
- Transfer the method to the P1/ with Discipline for transversalization
- Identify and collect training for LCP network (Mecha engineers, R&D; PTL, HW ) and facilitate contact with trainers for training deployment
- Capitalizes by reports and procedure the simulation method improvement and validation test methods
- Participate to QRQC resolution
- Participates to validation of simulation by comparing with test results
- Networking : Participate and share information to the Network of his discipline at the Product Group or Business group level
- Efficiency: Define actions of efficiency and follow up actions in all RO
- To apply the procedures and Environmental, Safety and Security good practices, to know, for their activities, the potential risks and their consequences, be there attentive, be reagent, and know the associated action plans.
