Key Deliverables

- Monitor performance tests and report PE observations.
- Identify performance issues/bottlenecks and recommend resolutions.
- Tracking issues/bottlenecks resolution to closure.
- Present PE observations and resolutions to project stakeholders and leads.
- Contribution to Documentation and Knowledge Management.
- Mentor junior PE members.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand application architecture, scoping sheet, project objectives, etc
- Provide pre-requisites for PE activities
- Validate performance issues
- Analyse key application logs and dumps to troubleshoot application performance bottlenecks.
- Validate performance testing strategies.
- Validate workload models based on production loads for accurate assessment.
- Assess JDBC connection pooling, connection leaks, and database performance.
- Tune thread pools, connection pools, HTTP connectors, etc for improving performance and scalability.
- Understand DB memory management, DB reports, query tuning and indexing for database optimization.
- Knowledge of Linux commands, network troubleshooting, integration layers, etc.




- Utilize advanced testing tools and techniques to simulate real-world usage scenarios.
- Monitor and analyse performance metrics, generating actionable insights.
- Propose solutions to optimize system behaviour, scalability, and reliability.
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies related to performance engineering.
- Robust coding skills in various programming languages.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- In-depth understanding of system architecture and performance implications.
- Process Gain a thorough understanding of application functionality, execution flow, and interdependencies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build domain knowledge for banking, insurance, etc.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure performance goals align with business objectives.
