Job Description:
Position Summary:
The Senior Manager Contract Management will be responsible for managing the complete commercial and contractual lifecycle of engineering, procurement, construction (EPC), industrial automation, infrastructure, and turnkey projects across India. The incumbent will support both pre-award and post-award contract administration, ensuring contractual compliance, commercial risk mitigation, claim management, dispute resolution, and protection of the company's commercial interests.
The position requires close coordination with Sales, Tendering, Projects, Procurement, Finance, Legal, and Clients throughout project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
Pre-Contract Activities:
- Review RFQs, RFPs, Tender Documents, and Contract Conditions.
- Identify commercial, financial, contractual, and legal risks.
- Participate in bid strategy meetings.
- Prepare contract deviation statements.
- Coordinate with Legal for reviewing special conditions.
- Support commercial negotiations during bid finalization.
- Recommend mitigation strategies before contract award.
Contract Administration:
- Draft, review, negotiate, and finalize:
- EPC Contracts
- Supply Agreements
- Service Agreements
- Subcontract Agreements
- Consortium Agreements
- NDAs
- MoUs
- Framework Agreements
- Ensure compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
- Maintain complete contract repository.
Commercial Management:
- Monitor contractual obligations.
- Track milestone completion.
- Review payment certifications.
- Ensure timely invoicing.
- Monitor Bank Guarantees.
- Manage Letter of Credit requirements.
- Monitor Retention Money.
- Administer Performance Guarantees.
Claims & Variations:
- Manage Extension of Time (EOT).
- Handle Change Orders.
- Evaluate Variation Orders.
- Prepare contractual notices.
- Develop claim documentation.
- Coordinate dispute resolution.
- Support Arbitration/Litigation if required.
Risk Management:
- Identify contractual risks.
- Maintain Contract Risk Register.
- Escalate high-risk commercial issues.
- Recommend mitigation measures.
- Support insurance-related contractual obligations.
Stakeholder Management:

Qualifications

- 10-18 Years
- Experience in EPC, Automation, Renewable Energy, Manufacturing, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or Industrial Projects
- India-wide project exposure
