Job Summary

As a Markets Middle Office Analyst - Client Account Data, you will be responsible for the accurate and timely execution of client account data activities across ANZ Markets systems, including CSS, Murex, Core Static, and other related platforms. The role involves managing counterparty, account, SSI, and SDI setups to support client onboarding, trade processing, settlement, and post-trade operations while ensuring all activities are completed in accordance with established procedures, service standards, and timelines.

In addition, you will play a key role in maintaining data quality and mitigating operational risk by adhering to defined controls, conducting necessary validations, and promptly escalating any issues or discrepancies. Working collaboratively within a team setting, you will contribute to the delivery of consistent, reliable, and high-quality operational outcomes, while demonstrating flexibility to support global stakeholders across APAC, UK, and US time zones.

Role Type: Permanent; Role Location: Bengaluru; Work Hours: US Shift and EMEA Shift (3 PM Onwards).

Responsibilities

- Executing client account data activities in accordance with defined procedures, policies, and turnaround times.
- Setting up, maintaining, and validating client, counterparty, and settlement instruction data with a high degree of accuracy.
- Processing SSI/SDI updates across systems and ensuring all required fields, validations, and control checks are completed.
- Performing data quality reviews to identify incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent information and driving timely resolution.
- Investigating routine exceptions, resolving issues where appropriate, and escalating complex matters in a timely manner.
- Supporting reconciliations,



control activities, and operational checks to maintain data integrity and minimize risk.
- Maintaining high standards of accuracy, productivity, and compliance with process and control requirements.
- Responding to stakeholder queries and requests within agreed service levels and providing effective support.
- Collaborating with team members to achieve shared objectives and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives through feedback and process enhancement suggestions.

Requirements

- 2-5 years of experience in Client Static Data, Reference Data, Client Account Data, or Markets/Securities Operations.
- Hands-on experience in static data processing, including SSI and SDI setup, maintenance, updates, and validation.
- A basic to good understanding of counterparty, account, and settlement data processes and associated controls.
- A sound understanding of the trade lifecycle and the role of static data in supporting trade processing and settlement activities.
- Experience in data processing, validation, reconciliations, and exception management.
- Experience working in a process-driven, control-focused operational environment.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively respond to queries and engage with stakeholders.
- Excellent attention to detail, with a strong focus on accuracy and data quality.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with operational systems and data management platforms.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
