Role & responsibilities

- Strong familiarity with Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Land Transport, and Customs Clearance procedures in UAE.
- Secure competitive buy rates for air, sea, and land freight from shipping lines, airlines, and overseas agents.
- Prepare fast, accurate, and profitable freight quotations and handle client RFQs (Request for Quotes) in coordination with the sales team.
- Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, peak season surcharges, and General Rate Increases (GRI).
- Keep internal rate sheets, tariffs, and pricing databases updated within logistics software.
- Partner with operations and sales teams to convert business leads and ensure smooth shipment handovers.
- Solid command of Microsoft Excel and logistics ERP tools (e.g., CargoWise, Ipack)




- Maintain ongoing relationships with active clients to ensure repeat business and high satisfaction.
- Advanced communication, numerical aptitude, and commercial negotiation abilities.

Preferred candidate profile

Hands-on experience in UAE Freight Forwarding.
Expertise in Air Freight, Sea Freight (FCL/LCL), Land Transport & Customs Clearance.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and logistics ERP platforms such as CargoWise or Ipack.
Excellent communication, commercial negotiation, and analytical skills.
