Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Printer / Plotter Engineer to handle installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of printers and large-format plotters at client locations. The role involves field support, preventive maintenance, and ensuring minimal downtime of printing devices.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure, and support printers, plotters, and multifunction devices
- Perform preventive maintenance and breakdown support for printing equipment
- Troubleshoot issues related to hardware, print quality, connectivity, and drivers
- Handle large-format printers / plotters used for drawings, banners, and signage
- Diagnose faults and replace components such as print heads, rollers, cartridges, and boards
- Provide in office support to clients and ensure SLA compliance




- Maintain service reports, logs, and documentation
- Coordinate with vendors for spares and warranty support
- Support network printing, IP configuration, and driver installations
- Ensure customer satisfaction through timely resolution

Required Skills

- Knowledge of LaserJet, Inkjet, Dot Matrix, and Plotters
- Experience in large-format printers (Ricoh, HP, Canon, Epson, etc.)
- Strong troubleshooting skills (hardware & basic networking)
- Understanding of printer components and spare parts handling
- Basic knowledge of TCP/IP, drivers, and print servers
- Ability to work independently in field support roles
- Good communication and customer-handling skills
