Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a skilled QA Engineer with strong experience in both Manual Testing and Automation Testing using Playwright. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test cases, identifying defects, and ensuring the quality of web applications through manual and automated testing.

Key Responsibilities:

- Analyze business requirements and functional specifications.
- Prepare and execute detailed test cases and test scenarios.
- Perform Functional, Regression, Integration, Smoke, and System Testing.
- Develop and maintain automation test scripts using Playwright.
- Execute automated test suites and analyze test results.
- Identify, document, track, and verify defects using defect management tools.
- Collaborate with Developers, Business Analysts, and Product Owners to resolve issues.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and QA activities.
- Generate test reports and provide quality metrics to stakeholders.
- Ensure application quality across different browsers and devices.

Required Skills:

- Robust experience in Manual Testing methodologies and SDLC/STLC.
- Hands-on experience with Playwright Automation Framework.
- Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.




- Experience in writing and maintaining automation scripts.
- Knowledge of API Testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Experience in Regression, Smoke, Sanity, and End-to-End testing.
- Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with Git/GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.
- Knowledge of defect tracking tools such as Jira.

Preferred Skills:

- Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing.
- Exposure to performance testing tools is an advantage.
- Experience with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is preferred.

Educational Qualification:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
