JOB PURPOSE:

1. Responsible for the performance and reliability of the EMD IGBT AC AC system under the stipulations of Annual Maintenance Contract.

2. Represent company in contacting customers, with a defined territory regarding product service difficulties, causes, and corrections.

3. To oversee all peripherals related to AMC services.

JOB DUTIES:

1. 24/7 availability to attend any issue and Troubleshoot related to failure of AC AC system within designated area of responsibility

2. Perform scheduled maintenance of the AC - AC system as stipulated in the contracts.

3. Accompany locomotives online for extended periods to ensure high reliability figures

4. Monitors equipment performance

5. Administers unit warranty policies and procedures as applicable in consultation with the Field Service Engineer responsible for the location

6. Maintain AMC paperwork in coordination with shed IR staff.

7. Build Technical best practices

QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Diploma in (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical) with 1-3 OR Bachelors in (Electrical / Electronics / Instrumentation / Mechanical) with 2-5 years of experience in locomotive services and maintenance.
