Title: L3 Infrastructure Engineer / Solution Architect & Functional Lead

Role Overview:
This role requires a senior-level infrastructure professional responsible for designing, governing, and managing enterprise IT infrastructure in a banking setting. The candidate will ensure compliance with RBI regulations, ISO 27001 standards, and industry best practices while driving secure, scalable, and resilient infrastructure solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Infrastructure Architecture & Strategy:
- Design secure, compliant, and scalable infrastructure aligned with banking regulations.
- Define IT infrastructure roadmaps, lifecycle management, and capacity planning.
- Lead hybrid cloud strategy (Azure/O365) with focus on security and compliance.

2. L3 Operations & Governance:
- Act as final escalation for P1/P2 incidents.
- Ensure root cause analysis (RCA) and preventive actions.
- Define governance frameworks for patching, hardening, and system performance.

3. Public Cloud management:

- AWS cloud operations management
- Oracle cloud operations management
- Cloud security and compliance management

4. Platform Ownership:
- Active Directory, Azure AD, Identity Governance
- Office 365 governance (Exchange, Teams, SharePoint)



+ Zoho Mails Platform
- Virtualization (VMware, Nutanix)
- Backup & DR (Veeam, Commvault)

5. Compliance & Security:
- Ensure adherence to RBI, ISO 27001, PCI-DSS guidelines.
- Drive OS hardening (CIS benchmarks) and vulnerability remediation.
- Support audits and regulatory assessments.

6. Functional Leadership:
- Lead L1/L2 teams and vendors.
- Define SOPs, KPIs, and SLAs.
- Act as liaison between IT, Security, and Business stakeholders.

7. Automation & Optimization:
- Implement automation using PowerShell/Bash.
- Drive infrastructure-as-code practices.
- Optimize costs and improve operational efficiency.

Skills Required:
- Expertise in Windows, Linux, Active Directory
- Strong experience in O365 and Azure

- Work experience on cloud technologies
- Knowledge of virtualization and backup solutions
- Experience in banking compliance and audits

Experience:
- 12 15+ years in IT Infrastructure
- Experience in Banking/Financial Services preferred
- Certifications: AZ-104/AZ-305, VCP/NCP, AWS solution architect, OCI cloud, RHCE preferred
