Role & responsibilities

- Build Planning Models: Develop custom planning functions, sequences, data slices, and characteristic relationships.
- Optimize Queries: Design and fine-tune BW input-ready queries to handle high-volume user concurrency.
- Write Core Code: Develop, debug, and enhance data flows using advanced ABAP Object-Oriented (ABAP-OO) programming.
- Support Business: Collaborate with finance and project management stakeholders to gather requirements and troubleshoot system locks.

Technical & Professional Requirement:

- Experience: 8+ years of dedicated hands-on experience in SAP BW-IP and SAP CPM.
- Core Skills: Deep knowledge of planning ADSOs, composite providers, and locking mechanisms.
- Programming: Robust proficiency in ABAP-OO, specifically for writing custom planning function types.
- Reporting Tools: Experience with BEx Query Designer, Analysis for Office, and building input-ready workbooks.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
