You'll work directly with senior leadership on transformative initiatives, including the deployment of advanced AI tools across clinical and operational functions. You'll join at a pivotal moment: Moolchand is constructing India's most technology-advanced healthcare facility of the 21st century. Our new 400-bed twin-tower expansion is currently in regulatory approval (DUAC submission completed) and represents a generational investment in healthcare infrastructure.

This facility will feature:

- Advanced AI-Powered Diagnostics: AI PET-CT scanning, AI-enhanced imaging with 384-slice CT capability
- Robotic Surgery: Cutting-edge CORI and Versius robotic platforms enabling precision surgical interventions
- Specialized Centers of Excellence: Kidney transplantation, advanced oncology, cardiac surgery, and AI-first diagnostics
- Digital Infrastructure: Integrated AI systems across clinical operations, patient management, and decision-support

As a Legal Associate, you won't just be watching this transformation happen—you'll be building the legal and compliance frameworks that enable it. From AI governance and data protection to regulatory compliance and healthcare innovation policy, you'll gain firsthand knowledge of how to scale transformative healthcare technology in India.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Your role balances legal expertise with strategic impact:

20–30% Legal Work

- Provide day-to-day legal advice and support to the hospital's various departments, including healthcare administration, human resources, and clinical teams
- Review, draft, and negotiate a wide range of agreements, including vendor contracts, service agreements, employment contracts, and confidentiality agreements
- Assist with ensuring hospital compliance with healthcare laws, including data protection regulations, medical malpractice, licensing, and accreditation requirements
- Assist in managing ongoing litigation, dispute resolution, and external counsel coordination




- Monitor changes in relevant regulations and advise the hospital on necessary actions

70–80% Strategic Impact

- Collaborate across business functions including AI tool adoption, digital transformation, operational planning, and stakeholder management
- Get hands-on with cutting-edge AI tools; contribute to compliance frameworks and ethical deployment of technology in healthcare
- Work closely with senior leadership on high-stakes decisions and organizational strategy
- Provide strategic support to the hospital in legal matters involving claims, regulatory inquiries, or administrative proceedings

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS

Academic Requirements

- Graduates and Postgraduates from recognized universities
- Class X and XII scores: 80% or above
- Law graduates are ideal, but exceptional candidates from any discipline (engineering, commerce, science, management) interested in building a healthcare career are encouraged to apply
- Enrollment with the Delhi State Bar Council (BCD) – if applicable

Experience

- 2+ years of legal experience, preferably in healthcare, hospital, or in-house counsel settings (or robust foundational experience in corporate law)
- Strong understanding of corporate governance and healthcare law is a plus

- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify legal risks and recommend practical solutions

WORKING ARRANGEMENT

Location: Moolchand Hospital, Lajpat Nagar, Block M, Lajpat Nagar-III, New Delhi-110024 (with potential travel for court/client meetings)

Hours: 09:00 AM – 06:30 PM, Monday to Saturday

Employment Type: Full-time

Flexibility: Occasional extension for business-critical or time-sensitive deliverables and court appearances
