Senior SRE Production Support Engineer

Job Description Summary

The Settlement Business Operations (BizOps) team is seeking a highly motivated Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to help drive reliability, automation.

As a production readiness steward, you will partner with Product, Engineering, and Infrastructure teams to build resilient, scalable, and highly available services while advancing DevOps and SRE best practices. The ideal candidate thrives in solving complex problems, enjoys automating manual processes, and has a strong passion for improving customer experience through operational excellence.

Role & Responsibilities

Ensure the reliability, availability, performance, and scalability of production systems and services.

Support the full service lifecyclefrom design and deployment through operations and continuous improvement.

Lead automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.

Support and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and operational controls

Lead incident response, root cause analysis, and blameless postmortems to improve resilience and recovery times.

Partner with development teams on monitoring, observability, capacity planning,



operational readiness, and reliability engineering practices.

Analyze operational and ITSM trends to identify risks, resiliency gaps, and continuous improvement opportunities.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience.

Strong experience supporting large-scale distributed systems and mission-critical applications.

Experience with one or more programming/scripting languages including Python, Java, Go, Shell, Perl, or Ruby.

Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with a focus on automation and operational excellence.

Experience with CI/CD tools such as Git/Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Artifactory, Chef, Ansible, or Terraform.

Robust understanding of Linux/Unix systems, observability, incident management, and change management practices.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively across Engineering, Product, and Operations teams in a global environment.
