Job Summary

We are hiring a Senior Executive/ AM - Purchase for a leading manufacturing company in Mumbai. The role involves end-to-end procurement, vendor management, commercial negotiations, inventory planning, and ensuring timely availability of materials to support manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage procurement of raw materials, consumables, and packaging materials.
- Develop and manage vendor relationships and alternate sourcing.
- Negotiate pricing, contracts, payment terms, and delivery schedules.
- Monitor inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted material availability.
- Coordinate with Production, PPC, Warehouse, QC, and Finance teams.




- Drive cost optimization and process improvements.
- Lead and guide the purchase team.

Requirements

- 8 years of experience in Procurement/Purchase within a manufacturing environment.
- Preferred industry: Paper, Packaging, Printing, Stationery, or FMCG.
- Solid expertise in vendor management, sourcing, inventory control, ERP systems, and MS Excel.
- Graduate in Supply Chain, Commerce, Business Administration, or a related discipline. MBA/PGDM is preferred.
