Job Description

iGene Labserve Pvt. Ltd. is engaged in the manufacturing, supply, installation, servicing, and maintenance of laboratory and life-science equipment.

We are looking for technically skilled and field-oriented Service Engineers responsible for installation, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, servicing, and technical support of laboratory equipment and machines at customer locations.

Key Responsibilities;-

- Installation, commissioning, servicing, and maintenance of laboratory equipment and machines.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, electronic, mechanical, refrigeration, and instrumentation-related issues.
- Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance at customer locations.
- Conduct customer site visits and provide on-site technical support.
- Identify technical problems and provide effective solutions within the required timeline.
- Perform equipment testing, calibration, inspection, and basic repair activities.
- Prepare service reports, visit reports, and customer feedback records.
- Coordinate with Service/Application, Production, and Technical teams for complex issues.
- Travel extensively within the assigned territory as per business requirements.
- Ensure protected handling, installation, and operation of company equipment at customer sites.
- Provide basic technical training and guidance to customers.
- Follow company safety procedures and service protocols.
- Education Qualification

Diploma / B.Tech / BE in:

- Electrical Engineering
- Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Instrumentation Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering




- Refrigeration & Air Conditioning (RAC) / HVAC

Relevant technical experience in laboratory equipment, refrigeration systems, electrical systems, or industrial equipment will be preferred.

Required Skills

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and electronic systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical components and equipment maintenance.
- Knowledge of refrigeration and air-conditioning systems is an added advantage.
- Understanding of instrumentation, sensors, controllers, and related systems.
- Ability to read basic electrical/mechanical drawings and wiring diagrams.
- Good communication and customer-handling skills.
- Willingness to travel extensively for field service.
- Ability to work independently at customer locations.
- Two-wheeler and valid driving licence preferred.

Freshers can apply if they have the required technical qualification and are willing to work in a field-service role.

Candidates with 1-3 years of experience in field service, laboratory equipment, industrial equipment, HVAC/RAC, electrical, electronics, instrumentation, or mechanical maintenance will be preferred.
