Ajeenkya DY Patil University is inviting applications for the position of Assistant Professor Psychology for the School of Liberal Arts. We are looking for passionate academicians with strong subject expertise, excellent teaching abilities, and a commitment to research, innovation, and student development.

Key Responsibilities

- Teach undergraduate and postgraduate courses in Psychology using innovative and student-centric teaching methodologies.
- Prepare course plans, lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and learning resources in accordance with the curriculum.
- Mentor students in academic projects, internships, research work, dissertations, and career development.
- Conduct quality research and publish papers in reputed national and international journals.
- Participate in curriculum development, accreditation activities, examinations, and departmental administration.
- Organize seminars, workshops, conferences, guest lectures,



and psychology-related outreach and awareness programs.
- Collaborate with academic institutions, healthcare organizations, NGOs, and industry partners for research and experiential learning opportunities.
- Undertake other academic and administrative responsibilities assigned by the University.

Desired Skills

- Solid knowledge of psychological theories, assessment techniques, and research methodologies.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Research aptitude with publication experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Outcome-Based Education (OBE) and NEP guidelines.
- Proficiency in statistical software such as SPSS, R, or similar tools will be an added advantage.
- Ability to mentor students and contribute to academic and institutional development.
