Key Responsibilities

- Operate CNC/VMC machines by following Safe Work Instructions (SWI), Inspection Process Orders (IPO), and standard operating procedures.
- Perform machine setting and basic 2D CNC programming.
- Select appropriate cutting tools and carry out tooling troubleshooting.
- Achieve the targeted cycle time while maintaining production quality.
- Conduct in-process inspection and ensure product quality as per specifications.
- Monitor and report in-process and final rejection, and initiate corrective actions where required.
- Report machine breakdowns promptly to the Maintenance team and Shift Supervisor.
- Maintain and follow part-wise best machining parameters and tooling standards.
- Support recent product development activities, process trials, and related documentation.
- Ensure implementation of TPM, Job Hazard (JH) practices, 5S, EHS standards, Kaizen, and on-the-job training activities.
- Ensure proper part identification, tagging, traceability, and maintenance of production records.
- Follow quality, safety, and company policies at all times.
- Required Skills
- Knowledge of CNC and VMC machine operations.




- Basic knowledge of 2D CNC programming and machine setting.
- Knowledge of tool selection, tool maintenance, and tooling troubleshooting.
- Understanding of production processes, quality standards, and inspection methods.
- Knowledge of part identification and traceability systems.
- Basic computer operating skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting ability.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a production team.
- Basic understanding of manpower coordination and operator training.
- Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Production output as per target.
- Achievement of cycle time.
- First-pass yield and rejection control.
- Machine uptime and breakdown reporting.
- Compliance with safety, quality, TPM, 5S, and EHS requirements.
- Accurate documentation and traceability records.
