Job Title: Mechanical Design Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer with solid expertise in machine design, structural analysis, and special-purpose machinery. The ideal candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing mechanical systems while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely project delivery and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop conceptual machine designs based on project requirements and customer specifications.
- Perform first-principle design calculations for machine base structures, spindles, work-holding fixtures, tooling, motors, and gearbox assemblies.
- Interact with customers to understand requirements and develop innovative design solutions.
- Ensure adherence to project schedules and design delivery timelines.
- Create high-quality 3D models, assembly drawings, and detailed manufacturing drawings.
- Coordinate with manufacturing, assembly, and try-out teams to support successful project execution.
- Select and specify linear motion (LM) rails, ball screws, slide assemblies, bearings,



and other mechanical components based on application requirements.
- Design and select hydraulic power packs and pneumatic systems.
- Perform structural analysis and validate designs using first-principle calculations and FEA techniques.
- Ensure compliance with engineering standards, GD&T; practices, and design quality requirements.
- Required Skills & Qualifications:

- Strong understanding of machine design, solid mechanics, and first-principle engineering calculations.
- Hands-on experience with CAD software, preferably SolidWorks.
- Good knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T;).
- Experience in Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and structural validation.
- Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic system design.
- Experience in the design of steel strip processing machinery, tube processing machinery, and special-purpose machines (SPMs) is preferred.
- Robust analytical, problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional coordination skills.
