Business Development Manager (EdTech)

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve monthly and annual admission and revenue targets.
- Identify opportunities through market research, networking, referrals, and corporate tie-ups; convert leads into admissions.
- Build and maintain relationships with colleges, universities, corporates, and placement partners.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team to achieve individual and team targets; monitor performance and ensure solid conversion rates.
- Analyse market trends and competitor activity; recommend strategies to improve lead generation and brand visibility.
- Ensure high customer satisfaction through the admission process; resolve escalations and coordinate with counselling and marketing teams.
- Track sales performance, lead conversion,



and revenue metrics; report insights to management.

Qualifications & Experience

- Bachelor's in Business Administration, Marketing, Management, or related field (MBA preferred).
- Min. 5 years in Business Development, Sales, or Admissions; EdTech/training institute background preferred.
- Proven track record of achieving sales and revenue targets.

- Strong business development, sales, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Leadership and team management ability.
- Analytical mindset; proficient in MS Office and CRM tools; comfortable in a target-driven environment.
