About the Role

We are looking for Dealers and Derivatives Strategists to join our options trading desk. This is a hybrid role combining the speed and discipline of live order execution with the analytical rigor of derivatives strategy design. You will spend part of your day executing trades with precision on the terminal, and the other part researching, testing, and refining options strategies on indices like NIFTY and SENSEX.

This role suits someone who thrives under pressure during market hours but is equally comfortable stepping back to analyze data, question assumptions, and build better strategies for the future.

Key Responsibilities

Dealing / Execution

- Execute options and derivatives orders swiftly and accurately across NIFTY, SENSEX, and other indices/stocks on the broker terminal during live market hours
- Manage multi-leg option orders (straddles, strangles, spreads, iron condors, etc.) with minimal slippage and strict adherence to risk limits
- Monitor open positions in real time, track margin utilization, and flag/react to fast-moving market conditions
- Maintain discipline around stop-losses, position sizing, and risk parameters during volatile sessions

Strategy & Analysis

- Apply strong working knowledge of Option Greeks (Delta, Gamma, Theta, Vega) to assess trade risk and payoff profiles before and during execution
- Understand and apply basic option strategies straddles, strangles, covered calls, spreads, collars, iron condors/flies, calendar spreads, etc.
- Bring an analytical mindset to research, backtest, and propose new option strategies (including 0 DTE / 1 DTE structures, agile adjustment/shift rules, and volatility-based entries)
- Collaborate on parametric optimization of strategies — testing variations in entry timing, premium levels, stop-loss thresholds, and expiry structures
- Stay updated on market volatility regimes,



event-driven risks (RBI policy, Budget, expiry days, global cues), and how they affect strategy performance

Coding / Automation (Preferred, not mandatory)

- Assist in automating strategy logic, backtests, or data analysis using Python, AFL (AmiBroker), or similar tools
- Support strategy validation through historical backtesting and data-driven decision-making

Required Qualifications & Skills

- NISM Series VIII (Equity Derivatives) certification preferred
- Solid understanding of options theory, Greeks, and payoff structures
- Demonstrated ability to execute orders quickly and accurately on a broker trading terminal (any major platform)
- Practical exposure to basic option strategies and their risk/reward characteristics
- Strong analytical and quantitative thinking — comfortable working with data, probabilities, and risk metrics
- Ability to stay calm, focused, and accurate under time pressure and high market volatility
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent practical trading experience)

Good to Have

- Working knowledge of Python, AFL, or other scripting/coding languages for strategy automation or backtesting
- Prior experience with systematic/quant strategy development and parametric optimization sweeps
- Familiarity with backtesting platforms/tools
- Exposure to short-selling frameworks, technical analysis (e.g., stage analysis), or multi-timeframe trading methods
- Prior dealing desk experience in a prop desk, brokerage, or hedge fund setup
