Job Summary

The Emergency Technician is responsible for providing immediate technical and patient care support in the Emergency Department. The role involves assisting doctors and nurses during emergency procedures, handling emergency equipment, monitoring patients, and ensuring timely response during critical situations.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist doctors and nurses in managing emergency and trauma patients
- Prepare and maintain emergency equipment, crash carts, and monitors
- Perform basic patient care procedures as directed by medical staff
- Monitor vital signs and report abnormalities immediately
- Assist in CPR, resuscitation, and emergency procedures
- Handle patient shifting and transportation within the hospital
- Ensure availability and proper functioning of emergency medical equipment
- Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the emergency area
- Support in dressing, wound care, catheterization, and sample collection as required




- Maintain patient records and emergency documentation accurately
- Follow infection control protocols and patient safety guidelines
- Coordinate with laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and other departments during emergencies
- Ensure compliance with NABH and hospital emergency care protocols

Qualification

- Diploma/Degree in Emergency Medical Technology, Nursing Assistant, or related paramedical field
- BLS/ACLS certification preferred

Skills Required

- Knowledge of emergency and trauma care procedures
- Ability to respond quickly during critical situations
- Positive communication and teamwork skills
- Basic knowledge of medical equipment and monitoring systems
- Ability to work in rotational shifts and under pressure

Preferred Experience

- Experience in Emergency Department, ICU, or Trauma Care setup preferred

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
