Job Title: Subject Matter Expert (SME) – Chemistry

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and passionate Physics Subject Matter Expert (SME) to lead academic excellence initiatives for K-12 education. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in the CBSE CHemistry curriculum, teacher training, instructional coaching, academic operations, and educational technology management. The role involves ensuring high academic standards, supporting teacher development, managing academic programs, and contributing to faculty hiring and performance management.

Key Responsibilities

Academic Quality & Curriculum

- Ensure high-quality delivery of Chemistry content aligned with CBSE and other Indian education boards.
- Review, develop, and improve academic content, assessments, question banks, and learning resources.
- Monitor curriculum implementation and recommend improvements to enhance student outcomes.
- Conduct academic audits and quality assurance reviews.

Teacher Training & Instructional Coaching

- Design and deliver teacher training programs, workshops, and professional development sessions.
- Provide instructional coaching and mentorship to Chemistry faculty.
- Observe teaching sessions and provide constructive feedback to improve classroom effectiveness.
- Develop best practices and teaching methodologies for effective Chemistry instruction.

Academic Operations

- Support day-to-day academic operations and ensure smooth execution of academic programs.
- Coordinate with academic, content, and operations teams to achieve organizational goals.




- Track academic performance metrics and prepare reports for management.

Teacher Hiring & Management

- Lead faculty recruitment efforts, including screening, interviewing, and evaluating chemistry teachers.
- Support onboarding and induction programs for newly hired faculty.
- Manage teacher performance through regular reviews, goal setting, and development plans.
- Drive teacher engagement and retention initiatives.

Required Qualifications

- Graduation in Chemistry or a related field; Postgraduate degree preferred.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a chemistry SME, Academic Coordinator, Academic Manager, or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of CBSE Physics curriculum and other Indian education boards.
- Experience in teacher training, instructional coaching, and academic quality management.
- Proven experience in teacher hiring, performance management, and faculty engagement.
- Experience working in K-12 schools, EdTech organizations, or online education environments.
