A Video Editor is responsible for assembling recorded raw footage into a finished project that aligns with the director s vision brand guidelines and project objectives They enhance visual storytelling by selecting shots creating smooth transitions adding sound graphics and effects and ensuring the final output meets technical and creative standards Key Responsibilities Edit raw video footage into polished content for various platforms YouTube social media broadcast websites ads etc Trim sequence and arrange clips to create a cohesive and compelling story Add music sound effects voiceovers and audio enhancements to improve sound quality Insert graphics text animations and motion elements as needed Color grade and color correct to maintain visual consistency and mood Collaborate with directors producers and creative teams to understand project goals Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent visual style Manage media assets including file organization backups and naming systems Use editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro Final Cut Pro DaVinci Resolve or Avid Review and revise edits based on team client feedback Export final videos in required formats suitable for different platforms Essential Skills Proficiency with qualified video editing software Strong sense of timing pacing and storytelling Understanding of color theory sound design and cinematography basics Creativity and attention to detail Ability to work under deadlines and manage multiple projects Knowledge of different video formats codecs and export settings Job Type Full-time Pay 10 253 60 - 29 336 28 per month Work Location In person
