About Bayfield Bayfield Food Ingredients Pvt Ltd is a leading manufacturer and supplier of high-quality food ingredients serving domestic and global markets With a focus on quality innovation and reliability Bayfield partners with top food and beverage companies to deliver consistent and compliant ingredient solutions Role Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented professional to manage procurement operations for raw materials packaging consumables and indirect items The role ensures timely cost-effective sourcing while maintaining vendor relationships and supporting operational efficiency Department Procurement Supply Chain Location Kochi Responsibilities 1 Procurement Sourcing Execute end-to-end purchasing of food-grade raw materials ingredients and packaging Identify evaluate and finalize suppliers with competitive pricing and quality standards Negotiate commercial terms and ensure timely issuance of POs as per internal PRs 2 Vendor Development Coordination Build and maintain a reliable vendor base for key materials and consumables Liaise with suppliers on delivery schedules quality issues and documentation COA MSDS FSSAI etc Conduct supplier evaluations and maintain supplier performance reports 3 Planning Communication Coordinate with Production Stores QA QC and Accounts to align procurement plans with operational needs Monitor market trends and anticipate material requirement based on production forecasts Resolve delivery delays material rejections and other purchase-related issues promptly 4 Documentation Compliance Maintain accurate records Ensure supplier compliance with regulatory and food safety requirements FSSAI BRC etc Adhere to internal procurement policies and assist in internal or external audits 5 Reporting ERP Management Work on ERP systems for PR PO GRN tracking and inventory linkage Prepare weekly monthly MIS reports covering purchase spend lead time supplier performance etc Assist in cost control initiatives and alternate sourcing for critical materials Desired Skills Competencies 1 Strong understanding of vendor negotiation 2 Excellent interpersonal communication and documentation skills 3 Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems SAP 4 MBA graduates preferred Job Types Full time Internship Pay 5 000 00 - 15 000 00 per month Work Location In person
