preparation be responsible for smooth execution ensure books are closed on time Ensure all month end activities are completed within agreed time and of the highest quality and ensure metrics are met as per agreed KPIs SLAs targets as applicable Handle aligned process as applicable - General Accounting Fixed assets Intercompany Reporting Balance account reconciliations Ensure client happiness and successful external internal audits Structured Planning Prioritization Detailed planning aligning regional financial goals with global strategies This involves setting clear priorities timelines and deliverables Regular Review Cycles Periodic and quarterly reviews with team and relevant parties to track progress analyze variances and adjust plans accordingly Leverage financial systems dashboards and AI platforms for real-time data access reporting and collaborations Maintain open channels with stakeholders through scheduled meetings updates and reports Work closely with cross function leads to gather insights validate assumptions and support decision-making In-depth knowledge of General Accounting best practices processes and internal controls Experience with structuring and managing projects project management skills is a plus Partner with financial operations in RTR to accomplish smooth period close Close communication and follow up with stakeholders and partners Ability to leverage Functional Experts for system related changes Co-work with GPOs to implementation of improved process models Qualifications Minimum qualifications Bachelor s degree in Finance Accounting CPA MBA highly desired Master s degree in Accounting Preferred qualifications Relevant work experience in General Ledger Very good written and verbal communication skills Proficient in MS Office applications especially in MS excel Good analytical and problem-solving skills and ability to handle team and client discussions Why join Genpact Be a transformation leader -
