Key Responsibilities Operate manual conventional lathe machines to perform machining tasks on metal components Read and interpret engineering drawings sketches and work orders Perform turning facing grooving threading drilling boring and knurling operations Set up tools fixtures and workpieces correctly to ensure precision Measure and inspect finished parts using calipers micrometers vernier scales and gauges Maintain tolerances and surface finish as per specifications Ensure machine maintenance cleanliness and adherence to safety guidelines Report any mechanical issues or quality defects to supervisors Follow production schedules and complete jobs within specified timelines Maintain production records and daily logs Candidate Requirements Min 2 years of experience operating a manual lathe machine Good understanding of mechanical drawings and measurements Ability to work with minimal supervision Knowledge of cutting speeds feeds and tool geometry Basic knowledge of machine maintenance and safety practices Physically fit and able to stand for long hours Job Type Full-time Pay 13 000 00 - 20 000 00 per month Perks Health insurance Paid sick time Provident Fund Work Location In person
