Job Title Cashier Location Gunpowder Assagao Goa Reports to Proprietor Independent Consultant Accountant Working Relationship Restaurant Manager Bar Manager Executive Chef HR Manager Storeroom Manager Facilities Supervisor Employment Type Full-Time Summary We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cashier to join our team at Gunpowder This role is responsible for managing billing and cash-handling operations ensuring smooth and accurate transaction processing The Cashier will also support the accounts department with documentation filing and report-related tasks Freshers or candidates with up to 1 year of relevant experience are encouraged to apply Responsibilities Primary Duties - Cashier Operations Manage the restaurant s billing systems including order entry generating accurate bills processing payments and issuing receipts Handle all payment modes including UPI credit debit cards and cash ensuring daily cash counts and reconciliation Maintain a float perform daily close-outs and prepare handover reports for the accounts team Ensure transaction data is accurately entered and recorded in the Petpooja POS system Coordinate with floor and service staff to ensure billing accuracy and timely service Maintain professionalism and guest courtesy at the cashier counter Secondary Duties - Accounting Support Assist the accountant in organising and maintaining financial records and filing systems digital and physical Prepare daily sales summaries shift reports and other internal documentation Support reconciliation of payment receipts against system reports Coordinate with vendors and departments for invoice collection and filing Assist with other clerical or reporting tasks as assigned Qualifications Minimum HSSC 12th pass Bachelor s degree in Commerce Accounting or related field is an advantage Fresher or up to 1 year of experience as a cashier in a restaurant or retail environment Knowledge of Petpooja POS preferred training can be provided Basic knowledge of MS Excel or Google Sheets Strong attention to detail accuracy and ability to manage time effectively Comfortable working in a fast-paced workplace including evenings and weekends Good communication skills in English and at least one local language Knowledge of Tally is an added advantage Disciplined approach to document handling and filing Additional Information Local as well as outstation candidates are welcome to apply Job Types Full-time Permanent Fresher Pay 15 000 00 - 18 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Health insurance Paid time off Provident Fund Ability to commute relocate Assagao Goa Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work Required Education Higher Secondary 12th Pass Preferred Language english and hindi Required Work Location In person
