A Nurse Educator is responsible for developing implementing and evaluating educational programs for nursing staff ensuring they maintain clinical competency and provide high-quality patient care This involves assessing learning needs designing curricula delivering training and staying updated on current best practices Key Responsibilities Curriculum Development and Delivery Creating and delivering educational programs for nursing staff including orientation in-services and continuing education courses Needs Assessment Identifying learning needs of nurses through gap analysis and feedback mechanisms to tailor educational offerings Evidence-Based Practice Promoting and integrating evidence-based practice into nursing care through education and training Clinical Competency Ensuring nurses maintain and improve their clinical skills and knowledge through ongoing education and competency assessments Mentorship and Guidance Providing mentorship and guidance to nursing staff fostering career development and leadership skills Technology Integration Educating staff on the use of new technologies and equipment in patient care Policy and Procedure Adherence Ensuring staff understand and adhere to hospital policies procedures and safety protocols Collaboration and Communication Collaborating with clinical leadership and other healthcare professionals to achieve educational goals and promote quality patient care Evaluation Evaluating the effectiveness of educational programs and making adjustments as needed Staying Updated Continuously updating knowledge and skills related to nursing practice and educational methodologies Qualifications Education Master s degree in Nursing Licensure Registered Tamil Nadu Nursing license Experience Significant clinical nursing experience preferably in a hospital setting Skills Strong communication teaching leadership and critical thinking skills Job Types Full-time Permanent Pay 300 000 00 - 450 000 00 per year Benefits Health insurance Life insurance Provident Fund Work Location In person
