Canada Based Trucking company with terminals all around in Abbotsford Calgary and Edmonton We provide Full Truck Load Transportation Services to and from major cities in Western Canada and Western US Company is growing and is in search for a strong communicator who is detail orientated to join our dynamic team Are you interested in a rewarding challenging and exciting career The Dispatcher is responsible for building and maintaining strong business relationships with multiple drivers to seamlessly coordinate them to successfully service customer loads Monitor logistic transactions in the evening while communicating effectively and efficiently both internally and externally to achieve high levels of service Responsibilities will include Answer emergency and non-emergency calls and document important information Track and trace fleet for on-time service to clients and report for any discrepancies Respond to any issues and follow-up by coordinating with the appropriate departments or field units Prioritize and organize calls according to urgency Supervise the route and status of field units to prioritize their daily schedule Communicating with drivers regularly to ensure on time delivery sending and receiving all information relevant to the driver performing his her duties within the Company and customer requirements Communicate any delays or potential service failures in a timely manner to impacted operation team members Customer Service Representative as well as the Operations Managers Handling all driver related satellite messages or calls within assigned and overflow queues Reporting and documenting of all customer service planning and driver related issues to the appropriate personnel Preparing customs clearance paperwork and ensuring it has been submitted the customs broker Following up with customs brokers to ensure clearances are completed in a timely manner Arranging and booking in repairs for in transit truck breakdowns Qualifications Good verbal and written English communication skills TMW knowledge will be an asset Minimum of 6 months of experience in a dispatch or planning role preferred Minimum of 1 year of customer service experience International BPO process would be an asset Minimum Graduate Analytical and critical thinking skills Strong problem-solving skills Proven team player with ability to align position goals with corporate strategic goals Shift timing 5 00AM - 2 00PM need to be available weekdays and weekends Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 50 000 00 per month Perks Paid sick time Paid time off Schedule Day shift Monday to Friday Night shift Weekend availability
