Position Title Scientific Officer Department Laboratory Operations Location Noida Experience Required 3-5 Years Industry Preference Diagnostics Education M Sc Biotechnology Microbiology Life Sciences or DMLT BMLT About Us Redcliffe Labs is India s fastest-growing omnichannel diagnostics service provider offering services across 220 cities through a network of 80 advanced labs and 2000 collection centres powered by home sample collection We are committed to delivering high-quality accessible and affordable healthcare diagnostics to all Role Summary The Scientific Officer will perform and validate routine and advanced diagnostic tests while ensuring adherence to quality standards and supporting smooth laboratory operations The role includes managing equipment performing QC QA activities troubleshooting technical issues and collaborating with internal teams to maintain accuracy compliance and efficiency Key Responsibilities Laboratory Operations Perform routine and specialized diagnostic tests as per SOPs Validate and verify test results before release Oversee sample processing and ensure workflow accuracy Operate maintain and troubleshoot laboratory instruments and analyzers Quality Compliance Ensure adherence to NABL ISO standards and laboratory quality guidelines Conduct daily QC reviews and support proficiency testing EQAS Maintain documentation of QC logs deviations incidents and corrective actions Ensure safe laboratory practices and biosafety compliance Coordination Support Support Junior Scientific Staff and Technologists in daily activities Collaborate with internal teams to ensure TAT compliance Participate in root-cause analysis of non-conformities and support process improvements Assist in stock management reagent verification and inventory planning Reporting Documentation Enter accurate results into the LIS and review technical data Maintain equipment logs calibration records and technical files Prepare reports required for audits quality checks and management review Skills Competencies Strong technical understanding of diagnostic laboratory testing Hands-on experience with automated analyzers Excellent documentation and analytical abilities Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Positive communication and team coordination capabilities Proficiency in LIS and MS Office tools Key Deliverables Accurate and validated test results Adherence to TAT and quality standards Zero major QC deviations or non-conformities Audit-ready documentation Smooth workflow coordination and technical support Preferred Profile 2-5 years of experience in diagnostic laboratory operations Exposure to Hematology Biochemistry Microbiology or Molecular workflows Experience working in NABL-accredited laboratories
