Job Summary The Billing Engineer is responsible for preparing client and subcontractor bills tracking project progress validating site measurements and ensuring timely and accurate invoicing as per contract terms The role requires technical knowledge in civil mechanical electrical domains and understanding of project contracts BOQ and billing systems Key Responsibilities Client Subcontractor Billing Prepare and submit running and final bills to clients as per project milestones and contractual terms Verify and process subcontractor bills based on work progress and joint measurements Ensure that all billing documentation is accurate and complete with necessary approvals Measurement Documentation Validate in office measurements against drawings and BOQ Bill of Quantities Maintain measurement books MBs and prepare quantity abstracts Cross-check site progress reports and coordinate with the site team for actual quantities Contract Compliance Ensure billing is aligned with contract clauses technical specifications and rate schedules Track variations extra items and non-tendered items for billing and approvals Assist in preparing and submitting change orders or variation statements Coordination Reporting Liaise with project managers site engineers and clients for bill verification and approvals Generate project cost and revenue reports for internal review Maintain records of invoices approvals deductions and payment follow-ups Audit Tax Compliance Coordinate with finance accounts for GST TDS and retention amounts in billing Prepare documentation for audits and project billing reviews Required Qualifications Skills Bachelor s degree or diploma in Civil Electrical Mechanical Engineering 3-7 years of experience as a billing engineer in construction real estate or hospitality projects Strong understanding of construction drawings BOQs and contract billing procedures Proficient in MS Excel AutoCAD and ERP Billing software e g SAP Primavera Tally ERP Attention to detail accuracy and documentation skills Good communication and coordination abilities Preferred Attributes Experience in hotel resort development projects or high-end commercial real estate Knowledge of government contract billing if applicable Familiarity with FIDIC or other standard contract formats Job Type Full time Pay 25 000 00 - 45 000 00 per year Work Location In person
