EHS Statutory documentation Compliance Prepare and maintain required SEAL EHS procedures and documentation Update periodical Revisions as required Monitor and ensure adherence to safety practices across the plant Prepare and submit monthly timely EHS data update monthly Proactive Site Safety metrics PSM online Tool Coordinate with Factory Inspectorate DISH on all the connected compliances matters including renewal of licenses RC amendment and Test certificates etc Responsible to renew the fire license coordinate with Department of Fire and Rescue for conducting mock drills periodically 20 - Training Awareness Conduct recent employee orientation refresher training and on-the-job SEAL training Responsible for completion of Job Specific Certification Training as per Training Calendar through competent external agency Develop implement and maintain safety programs Promote employee awareness through safety campaigns toolbox talks and maintain training records and materials Conduct gap analysis and work with respective team leads and plan training accordingly Prepare reports based on training feedback to improve training effectiveness 20 - Audits Emergency Preparedness Lead SEAL audits- communication to element owners prepare general population to face the audit ensure general conditions are maintained appropriately and ensure readiness of documents of each elements well ahead of audit co- ordinate between auditors and auditee during the audit Work towards achieving set SEAL score and support closure of non-conformities AIR Conduct safety drills emergency preparedness sessions and mock audits 20 - EHS Performance Monitoring Maintain EHS KPIs and prepare data for management reviews and periodic global reporting Engage in continuous improvement initiatives related to safety environment and sustainability Responsible for initiating departmental proceedings for violations connected to work place safety and environmental regulations 20 - Environmental Compliance Sustainability Support sustainability initiatives and waste management practices Coordinate with Environmental Regulatory Authority TNPCB on renewal of Consent Orders Obtaining Hazardous Waste Authorization and periodic submissions and any other appropriate actions as needed Ensure compliance with environmental standards and contribute to facility-wide environmental goals Responsible to meet the Environmental Audit findings Problem Solving Complexity - High on problem solving Able to solve the problem on time analyze the nature of the problem EDUCATION CERTIFICATIONS Required B E with a Diploma in Industrial Safety along with work experience and a safety certification from a recognized institution or Bachelor of Science in Industrial Safety with 12 years of experience Preferred M E in Industrial Safety with 3-5 years experience EXPERIENCE 8 to 10 years for B E 3-5 years for M E in Industrial Safety from a MNC manufacturing environment 10 -
