Key Responsibilities Student Welfare Pastoral Care Ensure the overall well-being safety and comfort of all hostel students Maintain a supportive environment that fosters personal growth discipline and academic focus Act as a mentor guide and responsible guardian for students in the hostel Hostel Administration Daily Operations Oversee day-to-day hostel management attendance leave records routine checks Ensure cleanliness hygiene and proper functioning of hostel rooms washrooms common areas Coordinate with housekeeping maintenance and security teams Ensure timely meals drinking water laundry and other essential services Discipline Safety Enforce hostel rules conduct checks and ensure adherence to discipline Handle behavioural issues with fairness and positive reinforcement Maintain safety protocols emergency procedures and incident reporting Liaison Coordination Coordinate with teachers wardens medical staff and administration for student needs Communicate regularly with parents regarding student concerns leave permissions etc Work closely with the Principal Administrative Officer for planning improvements Documentation Reporting Maintain student attendance movement register medical records and complaint registry Prepare daily weekly reports on hostel functioning Manage inventory of hostel supplies furniture and equipment Required Qualifications Graduate in any discipline Bachelor s degree mandatory Experience of 3-5 years in hostel management boarding schools or similar roles Knowledge of child psychology counselling and adolescent behaviour preferred Proficiency in communication English Hindi Skills Competencies Solid leadership and discipline management Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Empathy patience and student-friendly approach Ability to handle emergencies and stressful situations calmly Organised responsible and able to maintain confidentiality 5 Additional Requirements Must be willing to reside on campus residential post Should be medically fit Must maintain ethical conduct and uphold school policies at all times Job Type Full-time Pay 30 000 00 - 45 000 00 per month Benefits Food provided Work Location In person
